With a quick and easy to program remote sensor built-in, your existing remote control now turns off the main power - no more having to switch off at the mains or repeatedly using the mechanical power switch which, especially on modern TVs, can be difficult to locate.

Thanks to the learning remote sensor you can use any of your existing remote controls to turn the power on or off. Need to keep the power on for your recorder? Well, Savasocket have thought of this. Whilst four of the sockets are switchable, two of them are permanently powered, just like a normal mains block. This lets you set lamp timers and TV recorders without having to plug them in separately.

Using just 0.19 watts of power itself, the Multi-Socket 6™ is approved by the Energy Saving Trust, the wasted standby-electricity it saves in its first year pays for itself twice over.

Other thoughtful features include surge protection to protect your equipment from mains spikes, soft shutdown and a 2m cable for the infrared sensor. The handy 2m cable for the infrared sensor lets you place the sensor near your TV while tucking the power block out of sight.
